How to find us ?
We are located in the north-east coast of the island of Corsica at 30km of Bastia, 16 nautical miles of Capraia and 30 of Elba island, a sea-side resort with a big marina (580 berths) on the verge of a beautiful valley towered by the Town of Rogliano, which visit is highly recommended, due to its rich historic past.
At only 200 mts from the residence, you can find the beach with white sand and transparent, turquoise waters, surrounded by green maquis.
To the north, the beach gives way to a hill, after which lies the tower of "Santa Maria", which calmy lies in the water.

How to get there...
Once in Macinaggio, and after having passed the yacht and fishermen harbour, one arrives directly to the grounds of Stella Marina; However a second access can be found, conveniently signalised.

Historical facts
It was from Macinaggio, 1571, that the vessels captained by Ambroise Negroni de Rogliano, departed to combat the Muslems in the famous battle of Lepanto.
After their victory, they put a term for over 50 years, to all the raidings and plunderings, practised by the turks all over the Mediterranean and Corsica.
On July 13th 1790, Pascal Paoli disembarqued on this port after 20 years of exile in England.
Upon reaching land, he knelt and kissed the ground of this beloved island.
